Results in the first weekend of the Munster SHC went as everyone thought they might, with Clare beating Waterford, and Cork taking down Tipperary.
However, the performances may have surprised some, with the Déise looking strong in defeat, while All-Ireland holders Tipp were lacklustre.
Premier boss Liam Cahill acknowledge as such after the game, with his side looking at what could be a season-defining game against Waterford in two weeks.
He said: "A difficult afternoon for sure, Cork superior again, really cutting holes open in our defence, and goals again win matches, don't they?
"It's a big ask again now for us to pick ourselves up after today and get ready for two weeks time."
Speaking on RTÉ's The Sunday Game was Patrick Horgan, who retired after his county's excruciating loss to Tipp in last year's All-Ireland final, which left the Cork legend without a winner's medal in the competition.
Despite his rivals winning it last year, 'Hoggie' went with the controversial opinion that Tipperary won't make it out of Munster this year, thus ending their hopes of defending their All-Ireland crown.
He said: "Waterford, I would give them a better chance than Tipp of going through at the moment.
"They did show something today, but I think Tipp showed very little, that's why."
Unsurprisingly, he was called out online, with his All-Ireland failures used a stick to bash him with.
Hoggie still cut up over last July it seems . Embarrassing 🤣
