As for the game itself, Sligo raced into an 0-7 to 0-2 lead in the first half before a bevvy of Fermanagh goals, including two from Declan McGarry, swung the tie.
Fermanagh were 3-8 to 0-12 up, early in the second half, when their midfielder John Duffy was sent off.
The Lakelands County held on, however, and saw out the final to win their first Lory Meagher Cup with a scoreline of 3-16 to 1-17.
