Six GAA Trading cards they really need to make

The GAA have already got their foot in the door of the card game industry, but we think they have the potential to dominate the market.

The new Cúl Heroes trading cards from the GAA got us thinking. This could only be the beginning. After already proving they could enter the vicious "kill or be killed" world of novelty trading cards, it's now time for them to kick on and build on this momentum. The association need to grab this opportunity by na liathróidí and start mass-producing new series' of spin-off Top Trumps that the public have been craving for years. We've decided to put our heads together and do the hard work for them. So, here are our prototypes for six new GAA trading card  they should seriously consider making.

GAA Umpires

It's time to celebrate the unsung heroes of our national games. With a single jaunty wave of a flag, they can bring an entire stadium to its feet. Extremely impressive considering most stadiums don't even have feet.

If you ignore the constant references from commentators/pundits/journalists, it's easy to forget that some of our nation's top sports stars started off their athletic careers in the GAA. And yes, we've just realised that by poking fun at this, we too have contributed to the endless slew of reminders that Robbie Henshaw once played GAA.
