Pierce Brosnan will reportedly co-star in a new sports drama movie titled Giant, in which he will play legendary Irish boxing trainer Brendan Ingle.
According to multiple reports, the biographical film will centre around the British former world featherweight champion 'Prince' Naseem Hamed - with actor Amir El-Masry (A Haunting in Venice, Industry) to star as the athlete.
Hamed was one of four world champions that the Dublin-born Ingle trained at his Wincobank gym in Sheffield, England - the others being Johnny Nelson, Junior Witter and Kell Brook.
Described as Britain's best boxing trainer, Ingle passed away in 2018 at the age of 77.

Various news outlets state the movie will begin filming later in this month.
It is also said that the film will be written and directed by Rowan Athale (Gangs of London) and executively produced by Sylvester Stallone.
