More than a third of NBA fans think 52-year-old Michael Jordan is still better than LeBron James

Age is just a number. A number which reflects how old and unfit you are.

LeBron James may have just got through to his fifth Eastern Conference finals in a row after last night's Game 6 win over the Chicagao Bulls, but no matter what this guy does, he's never been able to fully win over some of basketball's snobs. Just 14 percent of basketball fans said they consider LeBron (a 2-time NBA champion and 4-time NBA MVP)  to be the best of all time, but Michael Jordan did scoop up 77 percent of the vote, which isn't all the surprising. What is frightening though, is how many basketball fans said they believed that the current day 52-year-old Michael Jordan is still better than James, and would beat the Cleveland Cavs star in a game of one-on-one, which seems a bit ridiculous. Just over one in two people (54 percent) think that LeBron - 22 years his junior and still at the top of his game - would win if they took to the court for a game. The poll, which was conducted by Public Policy Polling, didn't reveal what the thoughts were of the remaining 12 percent, although I imagine they were undecided, which is still ridiculous. Some people REALLY are living in the past.
