LeBron James is lucky to be alive this morning.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar might well have lost his life after being grazed by the forearm of teammate Tristan Thompson during Cleveland’s 99–84 Game 4 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night. During a scuffle between Thompson and Toronto centre Bismack Biyombo, James found himself involved and was barely touched by his teammate's arm that had little to no momentum behind it. Thinking it was an opponent, all 6' 8" and 250 lbs of James went down like he'd been shot. It bore an uncanny resemblance to Rivaldo's dive at the 2002 World Cup but James was quick to defend himself after the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c17aeF7JxAg

“I’m not trying to sell a call. I got hit with an elbow. I didn’t know from my own teammate,” James said. “I thought it was DeMarre (Carroll), but I watched the replay, it was from my teammate. So no-sell a call for what? There was no call there to be sold. That’s it. I was going to say something else to you, but I’m going to leave it alone.”

While we may be a little harsh on James, it certainly seems like his simulation is coming on leaps and bounds as he tried to win a foul earlier in the game for this.
