If Malcolm Butler was the hero for the New England Patriots when they lifted the Superbowl, Russell Wilson was very much the victim. The Seahawks QB threw the pass that was intercepted as the then champions trailed 28-24 and were just one yard from the line. Media and fans were aghast at Wilson's decision (admittedly given from the sideline) to pass instead of handing off to Marshawn Lynch, but if they were feeling bad, it wasn't anything compared to the man who was so close to leading his side to back-to back Super Bowl wins.
