John Higgins makes unbelievable comeback to stage late charge in world championship final

John Higgins has cut a seven frame deficit to draw level with Mark Williams at the World Snooker Championship final at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre.

Higgins was defeated in last year's final 18-15 by Mark Selby but has shown tremendous bottle to stay in the final when it looked at one point that Williams was going to cruise to victory. The Scot said that he was proud to get back to the final two decades after winning his first title against Ireland's Ken Doherty. "I keep using the word 'proud'. I'm proud 20 years later, after I won my first one, that I'm sitting here ready to compete in another one. It's a fantastic feeling."
