Jonny Bairstow carries off Just Stop Oil protester following Ashes pitch invasion

The Yorkshireman was having none of it

Jonny Bairstow physically carried off a Just Stop Oil protester after a pitch invasion on the first day of the Ashes test at Lords. The Yorkshireman took a no-nonsense approach to dispersing the campaigners and was warmly applauded back onto the pitch after a quick change of kit. Protesters from the Just Stop Oil group tried to disrupt the game in the second over as Stuart Broad bowled to Usman Khawaja.
