After Day 1, Lisa Ashton holds the current highest checkout alongside champion Rob Cross. She finished a 121 to bring the fans who weren't already dancing to their feet and, in that first set that she won, she was averaging a phenomenal 107.
She couldn't maintain the pace and regrets not seeing it out but, in her interview afterwards, she explained what this could do for ladies darts:
"Hopefully it takes ladies darts forward," she said.
"To show we're all playing well but we're not scared of the men, we will give them a good go.
"And hopefully I've done ladies proud."
