Shamed Paralympian Oscar Pistorius is back in the headlines this morning after being released from prison less than a year into a five-year sentence for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The 28-year-old South African was found guilty of the February 2013 manslaughter of Steenkamp, whom he shot dead at their home.
Pistorius was eligible for release after serving a sixth of his sentence and will serve the remainder of his term under house arrest. Reports suggest he will not be electronically tagged but his movements will be restricted, and he will no longer be able to own a firearm.
However, the prosecution are awaiting their appeal of the original decision not to convict Pistorius of murder, a case which will be before the courts in a fortnight's time.
