RTE's report on Purspure's gold was headlined - 'Dominant Sanita Puspure powers to world rowing gold for Ireland'.
That must have been on the mind of Ross, or whoever crafted his congratulations message. Virgin Media's Gavan Reilly was quick to point out that the 36-year-old is not, in fact, called Dominant Purspure.
