For Irish fans, the big story of the Tour de France has been the success of Ben Healy, who has a stage win, and wore the yellow jersey for two stages before being overtaken by Tadej Pogacar.
After losing a serious amount of time on July 17, Healy did well today to claw himself back into the top 10 in the general classification.
However, the main news coming from today's stage was an accident involving a spectator and the team car of Ineos-Grenadiers.
The fan was in the middle of the road to the Col de Peyresourde, filming riders, and somehow did not notice the car before getting hit.
