Video: Vladimir Putin bags 8 goals in totally real, definitely not staged ice hockey game

First we had Mitt Romney knocking down the former heavyweight champion of the world, now Vladimir Putin is apparently a world beater on the rink.

The wannabe Bond villain Russian President may have only recently started playing sport, but that didn't stop him from taking part in an exhibition game in Sochi at the weekend.

The 62-year-old scored eight goals to inspire his team to an 18-6 win. The fact that former NHL players Pavel Bure and Valeri Kamensky joined Putin were there and assisted a lot of his goals doesn't take away anything from his performance.
