The stronger the body, the stronger the mind. The stronger the mind, the stronger the body.It probably works both ways. Some people feel better because of the shape they're in. Others get into that sort of shape in the first place because of the belief they have in themselves. Sean O'Hagan? Christ only knows where it could've started with him. Just inches off seven feet, the Down native stands tall and fearsome, 32 stone of prized Ulster beef. The 27-year-old travelled to Mexico to compete in the Strongman Champions League world finals - the first Irish man to ever do so.
O'Hagan, from Banbridge, is a former junior and senior Ireland's strongest man and, after three days of competition in the finals in Central America, The Giant came in ninth in the whole world.
One of the events included in that intense weekend was the Monster Dumbbell. It requires competitors to press a 92kg dumbbell above their heads from a starting position on the ground and the judges count how many complete reps can be done in 60 seconds.
Of a 92kg dumbbell.
O'Hagan finished that particular event having pressed nine reps. Of a 92kg dumbbell.
