Andy Lee apologises after world title fight is moved from Thomond Park

Andy Lee has apologised to the people of Limerick after his world title bout was moved from Thomond Park.

The WBO middleweight champion was due to fight Billy Joe Saunders at the Munster venue on September 19, but the fight will now take place on October 10 in Manchester, as Lee's training has been affected by a virus. The 31 year spoke about the situation this morning for the first time since the fight was re-scheduled.
