Lee Reeves justifies Tyson Fury praise with brutal TKO victory in first pro headline spot

The pressure of being backed for greatness by Tyson Fury clearly hasn't affected Lee Reeves in the slightest.

Reeves' professional debut made Fury sit up and take notice, with 'The Gypsy King' heaping praise on the Limerick fighter last November. "Looks like Ireland has a new boxing star," Fury said of Reeves. "He’s fast, talented and super sexy. Actually He reminds me of someone--me. I’ll definitely be following his career." It's been less than six months since Reeves, 24, made his first walk to the ring as a pro but he's already making quite an impact. Reeves headlined his first professional show last weekend, when he steamrolled opponent Guillermo Ariel Lettieri in little over a minute in the welterweight main event at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Reeves, a two-time Irish underage champion, improved to 4-0 as a pro with a devastating barrage of punches that proved too much for the Argentine veteran. "All of the training and hard days is for these few seconds of glory I have and to celebrate with the fans," Reeves wrote on social media in the wake of the win. "Makes it all worth it! Now back to the drawing board to work on some things and another fight announcement coming soon."
