There was a lovely reaction to Daryl Horgan’s first Championship goal

His debut season in the Championship just keeps getting better and better.

It's safe to say that Daryl Horgan's move to the Championship has been going very well so far. It can often be the case that when Irish players make the move across the water, it can take a significant period of time to settle in or make an impact with their new clubs, just ask Horgan's former Dundalk teammate, Richie Towell. Horgan has been with Preston North End for just over a month now and he has already become a firm fan favourite with his energetic performances winning many plaudits. Horgan was handed a start in Preston's home tie against Brentford today. The result keeps them in 11th position in the table, just seven points off the playoff positions.
