It sounds like Robbie Brady is handling his transfer situation like an absolute pro

Robbie Brady is just getting on with his job.

The Republic of Ireland star has been heavily linked with a number of moves this summer, following his exploits at Euro 2016, and Norwich City's relegation from the Premier League. Everton, Southampton and West Ham have been reportedly monitoring the 24-year-old, but the strongest links have been with Leicester City. The Premier League champions are understood to have bid £12m for Brady, only for Norwich to reject it and put a £20m price-tag on the player. Brady has played four Championship games for Norwich this season - lasting 90 minutes each time - and collected two man-of-the-match accolades. The Dubliner, if was to join Leicester, will be playing Champions League football against Club Brugge, Porto and FC Copenhagen. And if he stays at Norwich, he'll be up against Rotherham, Barnsley and Brentford. However, despite the stakes being so high, and the contrast between the Championship and the Champions League being so stark, Brady isn't rocking the boat, and has behaved like a model professional since linking-up with the Canaries' squad. "We are still as you were. Since he has come back and re-joined we have had a chat about all that and there will be no problems whatsoever. He is fine," Norwich manager Alex Neil said last month.

"We are happy he is here and that will remain the case until when or if someone comes in with the right money. Then we will consider it and have a look but right now we will crack on. Robbie understands the situation. "I have to focus on getting the team ready. Robbie knows the situation, he is comfortable with that and we have just have to see what the future brings."

Neil faced the press again on Tuesday and insisted 'nor firm bids' had been made. With only hours before the transfer window shuts, Brady won't have to wait long before his future is settled. Many footballers in such a position would sulk, let their professional standards drop or try undermine their manager in an attempt to push through a move - we're looking at you, Robbie Savage - but it appears Brady is just getting on with his job.
