Aidan O’Shea’s post-match comments could spell more bad news for Dublin

Dublin and Mayo both have six days now to try and get themselves right for next Saturday's All-Ireland semi-final replay in Croke Park. The two heavyweights traded blows in a wonderful All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday that ended 2-12 to 1-15. The game was pockmarked by a number of unsavoury incidents however, and Diarmuid Connolly will miss next week's game because of his red card in an incident with Lee Keegan towards the end of the game. And it seems that Dublin's Philly McMahon may also be heading for troubled waters after Mayo's Aidan O'Shea accused him of head-butting during the game. The referee appeared to miss the incident, but speaking after the match, the Breaffy clubman confirmed that there was an incident between the two men.
