BJ Penn has offered to fight Georges St-Pierre at lightweight in Madison Square Garden

We've already seen it play out twice but, for some reason, this is still intriguing to us.

Unfortunately, though, this is realistically never going to come to fruition. Former welterweight champions, two of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters of all time, both coming back from lengthy lay-offs... But it's never going to happen. "I walk around 187 lbs. I'm 186, 187 when I wake up in the morning, and I could easily make it (with) a diet, because a lot of lightweights are bigger than me. Welterweight, I don't even talk about it because most of them are bigger than me, of course, and middleweight, they're much bigger than me. But it's not really about size. It's about skills." St-Pierre has toyed with the idea of a comeback for around a year now but, after putting himself through a successful trial training camp, the welterweight great is closer than ever to fighting for the first time since November 2013. And BJ Penn, who has lost to GSP on two occasions at 170 lbs, has offered up his services for the Canadian's comeback bout.
