€16.50 tickets on sale for Toulon v Leinster Champions Cup semi-final

Leinster Rugby have handed back a portion of their allocated tickets for this Sunday's Champions Cup semi-final, at Stade Velodrome, Marseille, against Toulon. The reigning Champions have been informed that Leinster will not be taking up their full allocation of tickets and the Top 14 side are offering their supporters, or whomever happens to be in the south of France, a bargain. Toulon's official website states: 'Tickets are on sale at € 16.50 in your RCT Store malls at Mayol Grand Var east and Ollioules and ticketing online.' Although the hype-machine has been in a low gear, in Ireland, Leinster forwards coach Leo Cullen says the playing squad are excited and optimistic about their chances of reaching a fourth European Cup final. He said:

'100%. Once the draw was made, the home quarter final against Bath was on my mind, but, always, you've one eye down the track. It was a [clear] be that Toulon were potentially going to beat Wasps and so it was. We would have had an eye on this [game] for a while.'

Cullen believes Leinster need a season's best performance to prevent Toulon from reaching their third final in a row. He commented, 'You could look to a big game last year in the PRO12 final - Glasgow coming to the RDS on a good run of form, playing attractive rugby. You saw the level of performance that day. Something like that is probably what we need.'
