Leinster have issued an injury update that is almost two pages long

14 names. Decent news for a few, not so much for the rest.

Leinster are just over two weeks out from the start of the Guinness PRO12 season and without a slew of healthy bodies. Leo Cullen's side have already played, and defeated Ulster, as part of their pre-season and take on Bath at Tallaght Stadium this weekend. This morning, ahead of their alternate jersey launch, the province provided a lengthy injury update. It was a good thing the Leinster media folks used a reasonably sized font or it could have stretched to two pages. The main updates are:

• Johnny Sexton (Shoulder) - Out of the early PRO12 rounds
• Cian Healy (Neck) - Back training. No return date set.
• Robbie Henshaw (Knee) - Progressing well after surgery. Still months away from return.
• Isa Nacewa (Arm) - 'Very close' but no return date.
• David Kearney (Knee) - Nearing a return.
• Rhys Ruddock (Ankle) - Out until Round 4 of PRO12 at least.
