Kleyn has played 17 times for Stormers since his 2014 debut but has often found himself behind Eben Etzebeth in the pecking order at the Stormers.
Unsurprisingly, Kleyn is now expected to set his sights on representing Ireland. Depending on his Munster debut, he could be able to play for Ireland in the 2019 World Cup.
