Nigel Owens was taking absolutely no crap during Munster vs. Glasgow

Nigel had e-bloody-nough of that lark.

Munster and Glasgow don't like each other. That's not a bad thing but it is a fact. Both sides have done serious damage to each other over the last few years and there was bad blood at Scotstoun, last season, when Warriors were accused of illegally targeting Munster scrum-half Conor Murray. With both sides eager to lay down an early Guinness PRO14 marker, there was always going to be some spice to Friday night's match in Glasgow. The Scots raced into a 10-0 lead before Darren Sweetnam and Rory Scannell combined to half the deficit. That was about it for actual rugby in the opening quarter as both sides simply lifted each other out of it. There were multiple penalties conceded, jerseys wrung and men squaring off across the pitch. Eventually, with only 18 minutes on the clock, referee Nigel Owens had seen enough. He called both captains in and told them to assemble all 30 players for one hell of a lecture. Owens proclaimed:

"That is totally unacceptable! Is that clear? "If I have to deal with any issues like this again, people are going to be not playing 80 minutes in this game... or whatever minutes are left. Is that clear? "Now get on and play rugby.... This is the last warning for you all."
