Robbie Henshaw ‘most retweeted’ Six Nations player, not for the reason you would think

Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you.

Mike Brown's knock-out blow, Sean O'Brien clearing out two Frenchmen, Wales' 289 tackles, Dave Attwood punching a ghost, those Scottish beards. So many wonderful Six Nations moments. So far, however, the player to garner the most Twitter interest, and retweets, is Robbie Henshaw. The Connacht back scored a superb try against England but his aerial pluck and touch down are not the reasons why Henshaw tops the charts. Twitter has revealed this online interaction between Henshaw and fellow Westmeath man Niall Horan was the most shared during the championship.

Bizarrely, this is the second time Horan has been included in the Six Nations top Twitter moments. Last year the Mullingar native got spiky with Welsh scrum-half Mike Phillips and social media had a meltdown. The pair have since put their spat behind them. The other tweets that spiked the charts include Mike Brown's image of a passionate young mascot singing the English national anthem, Pascal Papé's apology to Jamie Heaslip, Sam Warburton thanking Welsh fans for their support and Sergio Parisse and his Italian team-mates lapping up a win over Scotland.
