Shane Williams cements his legendary status with Pintman tribute on Lions tour

The former Wales and Lions winger is well on his way towards getting the freedom of Ireland.

Shane Williams is currently in New Zealand, following the British & Irish Lions and doing great fundraising deeds. The Welshman headed down to the southern hemisphere with a team of cyclists, and rugby enthusiasts, to raise money for a cancer centre by biking over 400 kilometres across the country. https://www.instagram.com/p/BV3szJZFV0z/ Williams charmed so many in Ireland, at the turn of the year, by turning out for Donegal club side Glenswilly as part of the AIB GAA documentary, The Toughest Trade. Legend that he is, he scored 0-4 on his GAA debut and led some sing-songs in the clubhouse bar after the game. The three-time Lion and many of the cyclists also took in some rugby along the way, and soaked up some of the local culture. He met up with a host of Irish fans including Sandra McNulty, who sent us on this class picture of Williams holding a sign in tribute to cult hero Paddy 'Pintman' McLosty.
