But the man can also heave himself into tackles. Just ask Stuart Hogg.
The Glasgow and Scotland fullback was - along with Conor Murray and Elliott Daly taking part in a 'Smoothing Things Over' video for Lions sponsors Whyte & Mackay when he was asked who the hardest tackler in the 2017 Lions squad was.
He took a glance at Murray beside him and joked, "Not you anyway!". Hogg continued:
"CJ Stander, actually. I ran into him a couple of times and I came off second best."
Stander, of course, was born and raised on South Africa's Western Cape but he is now a fully fledged Irish international and was recently made an honorary ambassador to Limerick, his home for the past five years.
The full video is definitely worth a watch, with Murray and former Wales and Lions prop Adam Jones showing off the comedic flair.
Jones talks about sharing a hotel with old England foe Andrew Sheridan on the 2009 Lions Tour while Murray is more than honest when asked if he felt sorry for denying the English a Grand Slam on the last day of this year's Six Nations.
In fact, there's a lot of slagging about England.

Brilliant footage shows Toulon doing training drills on Dublin street ahead of Leinster loss
This is great! Ahead of their Champions Cup semi-final against Leinster this afternoon at the Aviva Stadium, Toulon were seen training in a rather unusual spot. Instead of a field or the gym, they were filmed on a Dublin street doing maul drills, while others causally tossed the ball around. It is unclear exactly where […]
