VIDEO: Johnny Sexton and Joe Schmidt’s striking call to end homelessness crisis

Ahead of this year's Six Nations, the Irish Rugby team threw their considerable weight behind a campaign to tackle homelessness across the country. The campaign has raised a lot of awareness about a problem that is threatening to spiral out of control. Now, with Ireland's final game of the championship mere days away, Joe Schmidt, Johnny Sexton and Rala met up with Roisín McDonnell from Focus Ireland to discuss the campaign. Schmidt comments:

"One of the things that has been good for the players in this campaign is that they’ve got a greater awareness and life’s not that easy sometimes for them either, particularly not at the moment. "It has been a tough few weeks for them but it puts things into context when you’re representing your country."
