The other Irish player on Yeovil's books is 24-year-old midfielder Connor Smith. The Mullingar native was with Watford for five seasons [2011 to 2016] and made eight appearances for the club before movin to AFC Wimbledon. He lasted a season there before switching to Plymouth Argyle and enjoying his most productive campaign - 31 appearances and 2 goals.
Despite helping Plymouth gain promotion to League One, Smith was released but he did not have to wait too long as Yeovil snapped him up. He has played 23 times so far this season and chipped in with an EFL Trophy goal. Smith has four appearances for Ireland U21s.

Liverpool supporters will be watching closely if Whelan gets a starting run. He could be a cult hero yet for keeping Sanchez & Co. shackled. The SportsJOE Friday Pub Quiz: Week 137
