Arsenal reportedly ready to raid Leicester to replace one of their longest-serving players

Arsenal may be ready to let long-serving left-back Kieran Gibbs leave the club this summer, after nine seasons at the Emirates Stadium.

The England international made his debut in the League Cup win over Sheffield United in 2007, but is very much second choice behind Nacho Monreal. And Arsenal are keen to replace him with Leicester City youngster Ben Chilwell, according to the Daily Telegraph. Chilwell made his Leicester debut this season, playing all 120 minutes in the penalty shoot-out defeat to Hull City in the League Cup, and started both the original game and the replay as the Foxes took Tottenham to a replay in the FA Cup. The link follows Arsenal poaching Leicester's head of technical scouting Ben Wrigglesworth, though it is not known whether he has had any input in the club's interest in the youngster.
