Everton fans made their feelings clear as they protested outside of the club's training ground after failing to make a signing on transfer deadline day. There was some optimism heading into Tuesday after the club finally confirmed the appointment of Sean Dyche, who has the task of dragging Everton out of the bottom three and avoiding relegation. They also had some money to spend after the sale of Anthony Gordon to Newcastle for £40m, but they failed to bring anyone to Goodison Park, leaving them worse off than they were at the start of the window. As a result, some fans lost their patience and headed to the Toffees' Finch Farm training ground to protest. A huge banner displaying pictures of owner Farhad Moshiri, chairman Bill Kenwright, and director Denise Barrett-Baxendale was unveiled which a caption that read: "Liars." https://twitter.com/EvertonNewsFeed/status/1620547332562649088 Another banner was also spotted, saying: "Get out of our club." The Merseyside club were linked with a number of names and made bids for players, including Chelsea's Conor Gallagher, who opted to remain at Stamford Bridge despite the Toffees making a reported offer of £40m. Other names such as Che Adams, Lucas Moura, Moussa Dembele, Andre Ayew and Marko Arnautovic were also touted with moves to Goodison Park, but nothing came to fruition. It doesn't get any easier for Dyche and co as he prepares to take charge of Everton for the first time against league leaders Arsenal on Saturday. With the Blues currently sat in 19th and in danger of dropping out of the Premier League for the first time ever, it already feels like a must-win for the former Burnley boss. Related links:
