Leicester continue to splash the cash ahead of Champions League debut

Leicester City have been splashing the cash after winning the Premier League.

Claudio Ranieri's team will go straight into the Champions League group stage as seeds, having ended last season a full 10 points clear of runners-up Arsenal, and need reinforcements for those extra games. They have already brought in former Manchester United goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler to play back-up to Kasper Schmeichel, as well as Spanish defender Luis Hernandez and young Spanish forward Raul Uche. He is familiar to Ranieri, having been part of the Monaco team which won promotion to Ligue 1 under the Italian manager in 2013, and arrives for an undisclosed fee thought to be at least £10m. Mendy has made 120 appearances for Nice in the last three seasons, and didn't miss a single league game last season as the club narrowly missed out on a Champions League berth. “I know the coach, I know his mentality and I know his philosophy.
