James Milner has only been on Twitter a matter of months

In the time since, he has used the social media platform to show off his sense of humour - a far cry from the 'Boring Milner' stereotype. Towards the end of last season, only days after poking fun at Harry Kane's successful goal appeal, Milner racked up plenty of retweets with his response to Liverpool's newly launched home kit. Or - more specifically - one of the images used to promote it. At the time, the club tweeted an image of the new shirt being worn by Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Responding to this, Milner commented on how handsome the quintet were before pondering why he hadn't been selected for modelling duties.
