Not only has Sterling overcome the seemingly insurmountable odds, and made it as a professional footballer, he's now the most expensive English player ever. He also got his way in leaving Liverpool, and will get to play with world class talents like David Silva and Sergio Aguero next season. He'll also earn more in a week than some of the best players in history earned for their entire careers. Sterling must be ecstatic, right? Well, maybe he's smiling on the inside. Sterling did say his reasons for wanting to leave Liverpool had nothing to do with money, so maybe he's not too bothered about signing this contract.
