Real Madrid include special anti-Barcelona clause in deal to sell Jese to PSG

Barcelona won't be Jese Rodriguez's next club.

The 23-year-old has left Real Madrid after nine years, joining Paris Saint-Germain for €25m on a five-year deal. Jese made 94 appearances for the Spanish club since breaking into the first-team in 2011, scoring 18 goals, but has opted to leave the club for the French champions, becoming their fifth signing of the summer. Madrid included a similar clause in the deal that saw Mesut Ozil leave the Bernabeu for Arsenal in 2013, and the deal that brought Angel di Maria to Manchester United in 2014.

According Football Leaks, United would have had to pay Real Madrid €50million if they had sold Di Maria, currently playing for PSG, to Barcelona or any other Spanish team before the end of the summer 2015 transfer window. We doubt Jese will be playing for Barca any time soon.
