Roy Keane was involved in a heated exchange with a fan at Portman Road on Sunday after the 1-1 draw between Ipswich Town and Manchester United.
Keane, who managed Ipswich between 2009 and 2011, was working as a pundit for Sky Sports on the Premier League game.
The Cork native, however, received abuse from some sections of the home crowd while he stood on the sideline.
During a break in live coverage, Keane, 53, approached a male fan who had been abusive towards the former Man United captain.
In a video of the incident posted to social media, Keane can be seen inviting the person to continue the discussion in the car park.

Earlier this year, an Arsenal fan was banned from attending football matches for three years after headbutting Keane at the Emirates Stadium in August 2023.
The former Republic of Ireland captain has also said that the 'hassle' of covering games as a pundit, and unpleasant encounters with supporters, means he will not remain working in the media long-term.
“I love football, but the hassle of matches, getting to games and the hassle of fans," he said on Stick to Football.
"I was in court a few months ago with somebody headbutting me… Do you think I enjoy that side of it? Absolutely not.
“The games are fine. Getting to the games, parking up, people shouting your name… good stuff, bad stuff… it’s a nuisance, isn’t it? Are we all in an agreement?
“Being a pundit in 10 years? No."
