RTÉ have released their punditry lineup for Uefa Euro 2024, with James McClean announced as part of the analyst team.
McClean made his punditry debut for the broadcasters on coverage of Portugal's 3-0 friendly win over the Republic of Ireland earlier this week.
The former Ireland winger will join RTÉ regulars on coverage, such as Shay Given, Kevin Doyle, and Didi Hamann.
RTÉ's lineup of pundits for the tournament in Germany are as follows:
James McClean, Shay Given, Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan, Kevin Doyle, Didi Hamann, Stephanie Roche, Stephen Kelly, Lisa Fallon and Richie Sadlier.
Damien Duff was a pundit for RTÉ on the 2018 World Cup, Euro 2021 and the 2022 World Cup, and was arguably the broadcaster's best analyst on those tournaments.
He will not be part of the panel for Euro 2024, however. The former Ireland winger is busy managing Shelbourne in the League of Ireland and seemingly cannot commit to also working on the Euros
Coverage of the tournament will be presented by Peter Collins, Joanne Cantwell, Tony O'Donoghue and Jacqui Hurley.
While, the commentary team will consist of Darragh Maloney, Des Curran, George Hamilton, Adrian Eames, John Kenny and Cathal Mullaney, alongside co-commentators Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan, Stephen Kelly and Kenny Cunningham.
RTÉ will have coverage of every game across RTÉ 2 and RTÉ News Now, as well as on the RTÉ Player. Euro 2024 gets underway on Friday night as hosts Germany play Scotland in Munich.
