Ryan Giggs lands first job in football management as Wales boss after edging out Craig Bellamy

It's hardly a secret that Ryan Giggs has been looking to get into football management at some point.

Now, it appears he's set to be given his first full-time manager's position. Giggs stepped in as caretaker manager of United following the departure of David Moyes towards the end of the 2013/14 season. After overseeing their end to the season, Giggs acted as Louis van Gaal's assistant for two years. He left this role when the Dutchman was sacked in 2016, despite reportedly being offered a deal to remain part of United's coaching setup by Jose Mourinho.
