The Premier League is officially back.

Arsenal fans' significant pre-season optimism was shattered earlier today. The Gunners were different this year, they said, Petr Cech would be worth 10 to 12 points a season, they said. There are still 37 games to go, but the sight of a goalkeeper mistake and a complacent performance made it feel like this is the same old Arsenal. It certainly was the same old story outside the Emirates after today's 2-0 loss to West Ham.
