Manchester United remain unbeaten on their preseason tour after defeating European champions Real Madrid via the worst penalty shoot-out in the entire history of football.

As hilariously bad as some of the spot-kicks were, those that stayed up late enough to watch the game will testify that were it not for an even more comical miss from a certain afroed Belgian, this penalty shoot-out might never have taken place. With seven minutes of regulation time to play, Marouane Fellaini, God love him, found himself unmarked in the Real box. Picked out by Scott McTominay's cross, all Fellaini had to do was side foot the ball home from nine yards out. Unfortunately for Fellaini, he couldn't convert.
