A huge weekend ahead!

We are down to the last four in the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship, with a double-header at O'Connor Park in Tullamore this Saturday.

First up is Kerry vs Meath (kick-off, 5.15pm), pitting the reigning champions against the 2021 and 2022 winners.

The Kingdom defeated Kildare, 3-11 to 0-12, in their quarter-final, with Meath overcoming Tipperary, 2-17 to 1-6.

Prices, with both games included: Adults €20, OAP/Student €10, U18s €5, U12s free.

After the win over the Lilywhites, Kerry boss Mark Bourke spoke about improvements needed.

He said: “I thought the breaking ball on some of our kick-outs. I thought Mary Ellen [Bolger] was excellent, but when the ball got broken, we weren’t there quick enough. I definitely think that needs to be looked at.

“I also thought the forward movement, breaking the line, could have been better. Maybe the overload to switch it over to the other side and break a line then, but I just didn’t think we did it quick enough there today.”

Next up is Dublin vs Galway (kick-off, 7.30pm).

The Dubs last one in 2023, after a four-in-a-row from 2017-2020, while last year's finalists Galway have not one a title since 2004.

The Sky Blues beat Cork, 3-15 to 0-07, in the last eight, while the Tribeswomen overcame Waterford, 1-18 to 1-12.
