Yes, that's the most famous person from Clare we could think of off hand. If any of our readers from the Banner county want to inform us of an improbably ridiculous oversight like... I don't know, Kim Kardashian's relatives in Lahinch, feel free to do so in the comments. Until we're told otherwise, we're going with Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Paul Ryan as the most famous Clare GAA fan. At the time of writing, he has 2.53 million followers on Twitter. We already knew he was proud of his Irish roots. In fact, he was proud enough to use the #Ireland hashtag on Twitter.
