A crowd protesting the Israel-affiliated Allianz's ongoing sponsorship of the GAA and their National League stormed Croke Park on Saturday.
They interrupted the GAA Congress meeting, which had to be adjourned while the protestors were removed.
GAA president Jarlath Burns condemned the group and revealed that there were injuries to stadium security staff and volunteers.
Croke Park director Peter McKenna has also criticised their actions and disclosed further details on the 'attack'.
He said: “Staff got hit with poles and were pushed and kicked. You can see it on CCTV that one of the staff was actually flung across the floor. They were genuinely rattled.
“There’s a few scars, they were very shook, as you would expect, but no one has been badly injured, thank God.
“We are not set up that way at Congress to deal in a heavy-handed way. We don’t want security guards wearing dark glasses.
“We will review how we will do things in future. It’s something we will look to avoid again. There are plenty of opportunities on Jones’ Road to make your point.”

However, the performances may have surprised some, with the Déise looking strong in defeat, while All-Ireland holders Tipp were lacklustre. Premier boss Liam Cahill acknowledge as such after […]
