The two sides have played some storming games in recent times, with John Kiely's men's five-in-a-row hopes ended in last year's All-Ireland semi-final against the Rebels.
Limerick got their revenge by winning the round-robin clash against Cork two weeks ago.
With the Treaty County now chasing seven-in-a-row in Munster, fans will be forced to pay a higher price to attend the showpiece event.
Adult tickets are now priced at €50 for the stand and €40 for terrace. This is the second-straight year where there has been a €5 increase, with the 2023 final between Limerick and Clare at the Gaelic Grounds costing €40 for stand and €30 for terrace.
In comparison, the Leinster hurling championship tickets are still capped at €25, with stand tickets for the final costing €40 and Hill 16 tickets €30.
The Leinster council also announced an initiative to make 20,000 free tickets available to U14s, for the Leinster final and Joe McDonagh Cup final.
Down manager, Ronan Sheehan, was another to take to social media to reveal his dissatisfaction over the news.
