The League is back.

And the first weekend came and passed a treat. Here's your team of the weekend.

1 Eoin Murphy (Kilkenny)

Made a point blank save from Patrick Horgan and was superb throughout Kilkenny's comfortable victory.

2 Noeleen Lambert (St Martin's, Wexford)

Played a crucial role in St Martin's semi-final victory over Inniscarra.  

3 Jack Sherwood (Kerry)

Kept David Mulgrew scoreless and kept the Kerry goals safe all day long.

4 Tommy Walsh (Kilkenny)

The man with the famous name made his competitive senior debut in Nowlan Park and he fared well at corner back.

5 James McEntee (Meath)

Was superb for the Royal County in a big win over Meath. Bombed forward for a big score too.

6 Paudie Maher (Tipperary)

Wasn't a clever ploy by Clare to leave him free but the Thurles tank absolutely mopped up in Semple Stadium.

7 Paddy Durcan (Mayo)

Barely a game passes without Paddy Durcan kicking a big score. Captain for the night, he led by example and his equalising score turned the game for Mayo.

8 Shannon Graham (Slaughtneil, Derry)

Was in typically immense form for the history-making Derry camógs who made it into an incredible third All-Ireland final in a row.

9 Fintan Kelly (Monaghan)

10 Dara Moynihan (Kerry)

A late inclusion, the Spa club man stepped up with two from play in a lively, exciting performance.

11 Ryan O'Rourke (Leitrim)

Leitrim's main man kicked 2-7 in their 13 point win over Wexford.

12 Billy Ryan (Kilkenny)

A delightful handpass set up the first goal for teammate Leahy, his lightning pace helped him score the second. Was lively all day in Nowlan Park.

13 Patrick Horgan (Cork)

Were it not for the Glen Rovers man, Cork would have been annihilated in Nowlan Park. Shot ten points, five from play.

14 Aaron Gillane (Limerick)

Brought the fight to Wexford and already looks as sharp as he was last year. Hit a rasper of a goal to go with five other scorching points.

15 Stephen O'Hanlon (Monaghan)
