Gardaí are investigating a brawl that occurred at the end of Sunday’s Wexford SFC final.
Castletown Liam Mellows secured a second title in two years by overcoming Shelmaliers 0-14 to 1-7 at Chadwick Wexford Park, but the victory was marred by a huge post-match brawl.
Wexford CCC will also carry out an investigation after receiving the referee’s report.
The Irish Independent reported that a teenager sustained 'nasty facial injuries' in the brawl.

This was the third time in four years they had met in a county final, with Castletown becoming the first side to retain the Wexford senior title since 2006.
After fans’ celebrations spilled onto the pitch, victorious Castletown players could be seen rushing to an incident involving opposition players.
The scuffle eventually calmed down but GardaÍ will be looking into the incident.
