Meath defeat Sligo 2-14 to 2-9, in a thrilling contest that saw Meath take a comfortable lead in the first-half, but Sligo came out determined in the second half. They managed to make a game of it, with Sligo substitute Jack McGovern finishing with a brilliant goal, five minutes to go to make Meath sweat a little. However, a goal from substitute John Mannion sealed the deal on their victory and they now march on to the All-Ireland final.
