Just four camogie teams remain in quest for All-Ireland glory after ‘Super Sunday’ of action

After 240 minutes of pulsating action, the All-Ireland senior and intermediate club camogie finalists, who will stride out in Croke Park in early March, are known. In the senior action, Milford once again proved they are one of the Toughest sides to emerge in the last decade as they held off a powerful Oulart the Ballagh outfit to win by 1-9 to 1-8 in Carriganore. The Cork side took the early advantage and went in at the break 1-4 to 0-6 up after an a Emer Watson goal. The Galway outfit led from the off and once again nerves seemed to play their part in Loughgiel's poor start as they trailed by 2-2 to 0-2 at the break. The Antrim side did recover somewhat and managed to put the Galway side pressure in the second half before the margin proved too much and they lost by a cruel five points at the semi-final stage once more. Racquel McCarry scoring a consolation goal at the death to put a gloss on another disappointing day for the Ulster champions in the All-Ireland series. In the intermediate semi-finals, Cahir of Tipperary caused a major shock when they beat Tullaroan of Kilkenny by 1-8 to 1-5 in their clash in Freshford. The game was incredibly tight throughout with both sides deadlocked on 0-4 each at the short whistle. The second semi-final saw a loss for St Patricks Eglish, whose long wait for an All-Ireland final re-appearance continues after today's 3-6 to 0-5 defeat by Eyrecourt of Galway.
