Kilkenny hurling fans aren’t happy with this bookshop in Thurles slagging Henry Shefflin

Tipperary people love winding up Kilkenny fans.

They can sneak over the border at any number of points and deface road signs, paint sheep blue and gold and generally take the absolute pi*s whenever the sides meet in the All-Ireland series. We would have thought that Kilkenny fans would be too clever to fall such obvious mickey taking but it appears a sign in a shop window in Thurles has upset a lot of Cats' fans. Henry Shefflin's new book is out about two weeks now and is major feature in almost every-book shop across the country. But one cheeky shop in the heart of Tipperary decided to have some fun at Henry's expense by associating him with a well known history series called 'Horrid Henry'. https://twitter.com/kclr96fm/status/649502783901691904 We think it was pretty harmless, and at least they kept the crown, but several listeners to local radio station in Kilkenny, KCLR96FM, were irate and demanded an answer. And they got their response when the man who owns the shop in question, Bookworm Bookshop, in Thurles got in touch with the morning show on KCLR and explained the window display John Butler spoke to presenter Eimear Ní Bhraonáin  and explained what was going on

"I'm very sorry to hear we've upset Kilkenny people. We have done a nice window display this month in honour of Henry." "We have new books and obviously we have Henry Shefflin and we wanted to do a nice window display and we also had a new 'Horrid Henry ' book  and we kind of combined the two." "People love the window and we're just having a bit of fun."
